About CySI Labs
CySI Labs exists to bring engineering to the masses through AI agents.
Most people have ideas. Few have the tools, knowledge, or time to turn those ideas into working physical products. AI agents change that equation. They can research materials, generate designs, write code, simulate performance, create manufacturing files, and help iterate based on real-world testing.
This site is the public front of the lab. The blog documents the real process (successes, dead ends, tool choices, and results) so others can learn and build alongside. The Vault is where physical prototypes will be released once they're ready.
The goal is simple: make sophisticated engineering capabilities available to anyone with an idea and the willingness to experiment.
The person behind CySI Labs
Hey, I'm Cy. I studied physics with a focus on electrical engineering, and I've spent my career designing (and helping design) things that end up in space, in the air, on land, and at sea.
I'm a curious guy who likes learning new things, and lately I keep asking myself one question: what can AI actually do? CySI Labs is how I'm finding out. It's my first real litmus test, a team of AI engineers I direct, building real hardware out in the open, and I'm sharing all of it here.
